Coy Rogers, age 90, died on Sunday January 10, 2021.
The funeral services are scheduled at 11 a.m. Saturday January 16, 2021 in the Chapel of Adams & Sons Mortuary. There will be a social distancing walk-through visitation from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. with the Revs. Robert McReynolds and Vice Killebrew officiating. Burial will take place in the Corinth Cemetery in Trigg County, Kentucky.
The son of Susan Thomas Rogers and Gordon Rogers, he was born in Cadiz, onn February 22, 1930. he was a member of the Corinth Baptist Church in Cadiz where he served on the Usher Board. A resident of Hopkinsville since 1955, he was a self-employed farmer and he was also employed as a factory worker at the Jewell Hill Farm.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Killebrew Rogers in 2002. He was also preceded by his four brothers and his son Paul Rogers.
He is survived by a long-time companion, Carolyn Amos of Hopkinsville; son, Rev. Robert Rogers of Hopkinsville; daughter, Marsha Rogers of Hampton, Virginia; sister, Pauline Rogers McGee of Indianapolis, Indiana; and a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
