Ethan Daniel Cravens, 17, of Dover, Tenn., went home to be with the Lord on October 9, 2021.

He was born June 9, 2004, the beloved son of Josh Cravens of Hopkinsville, and Rebecca Cravens of Dover, Tenn.

Ethan worked at Mama Mea’s Pizza, farmed and processed deer. He was a junior at Stewart County High School where he was a SCHS Rebel basketball player #55 and a member of SCHS Beta Club. He and his family attended Dyers Creek First Church of God. He was baptized at St. John Methodist Church in Hopkinsville, and confirmed at Hilldale United Methodist Church in Clarksville, Tenn. Ethan was a loving son, brother, nephew and loyal friend to many.

He is preceded in death by his paternal great grandparents; Mary Rader and Donnie Houchens, maternal great grandparents; Bill Sikes, Joyce and Henry Neyra.

He is survived by his mother Rebecca Cravens (Michael Crawford) of Dover, Tenn.; father, Joshua Cravens (Susan Johnson) of Hopkinsville; brother, Noah Bales of Dover, Tenn.; maternal grandparents, Judy and Lance Sikes of Adams, Tenn.; paternal grandmother, Donna Houchens (Tommy Harris) of Hopkinsville; paternal grandfather, Eural Joe Cravens, Jr and Mirna Cravens of Hopkinsville; great grandmother, Barbara Sikes of Greenville, Texas and Linda Sikes, Garland, Texas; paternal great grandparents, Eural Cravens, Sr and Ruth Ann Cravens of Hopkinsville; uncle, Chris (Misti) Sikes and aunts, Meaghan Sikes and Maddie (Erik) Harris.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 14, 2021 from 4-8 p.m. at Anglin Funeral Home. Visitation will resume Friday, October 15, 2021, at Dyers Creek First Church of God at 10 a.m. and continue until the funeral service at 11 a.m. with Brother Jeff Wallace and Brother Jay Sikes officiating. Those serving as pallbearers are Ernee Webb, Andrew Hines, Little Ethan Sanchez, Riley Filson, Weston Beibe, Ian Eastridge, Cole Norfleet, Aiden Bales, Noah Bales, Joshua Crutcher, Sawyer Wallace and Gavin Smith.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made at the Ethan Cravens Scholarship Fund at F&M Bank, P.O. Box 350, Dover, TN 37058.
