Latane G. “L.G.” Holland, 86, Talbert Drive, Hopkinsville, died Saturday, Sept. 5, 2020 at Skyline Medical Center, Nashville, of natural causes.

An Eagle service will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 2600 Fort Campbell Blvd., Hopkinsville. Lamb Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

A native of Buchanan, Va., he was born Jan. 16, 1934, the son of the late Oscar Latane Holland and the late Ollie Graham Hall Holland.

He was the owner and operator of the Iv’ry Tower Inn in Hopkinsville for 18 years. He also owned and operated the Long Branch. He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, Elks Lodge and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1913.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Walter Holland and Lynwood Holland; and his sisters, Connie Fringer and Martha Loraine Kidd.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Joy Holland, Hopkinsville; his son, Corey (Diane) Holland, Centerville, Va.; his daughters, Mary Cathryn (Jonathan Good) Holland, Hopkinsville, and Teresa Ann (B.D.) Ray, Cookeville, Tenn.; his brother, Sidney Holland, Fairfax, Va.; and his sister, Mildred Bishop, Charlotte, NC.
