Charles Newton

Charles “Charlie” Newton, age 58, McKin-

ney Road, Hopkinsville, passed away Sunday,

Oct. 18, 2020 at his family farm from a hunting accident.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, 2020 at Lamb Funeral Home with

Aaron Hutchinson officiating.

Burial will follow in Newton Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 23, 2020 at the funeral home.

A native of Herndon, Kentucky, he was born Feb. 4, 1962, the son of

the late Julian Ray New-

ton and the late Betty

Elizabeth (Smith) New-


He was a concrete finisher and a member of Calvary Memorial Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Newton, Hopkinsville; sons, Jarrod (Samantha) Newton, Greenville, Kentucky, Brandon (Michelle) Newton, Hopkinsville, and Aaron (Elizabeth) Hutchinson, Georgetown, South Carolina; daughters, Hailey (Ty) Lewis, Beechmont, Kentucky, Cassidy (Brandon) Plesha, and Amanda Hutchinson, both of Hopkinsville; brothers, Frank (Sharon) Smith, Clarksville, and Julian Ray Newton Jr., Elkton; sisters, Betty Lou Davis, and Barbara (George) Slacker, both of Pottsville, Pennsylvania, Judy Goddard, Todd County, Martha Bedwell, Louisville, Brenda Anderson, Hopkinsville, Candy (Larry) Glover, Tamaqua, Pennsylvania, Mary (Bernice) Powell, Muhlenburg County, Kentucky, and Margaret (Roger) Tucker, Todd
