Robert Edward Crenshaw, 85, Hopkinsville, died at 10 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2019 at Covington’s Convalescent Center.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home with the Revs. Joe Bufford and Tony Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

A native of St. Louis County, Mo., he was born Sept. 9, 1934, the son of the late William Haynes Crenshaw and Orlena Mae Hill Crenshaw.

He was co-owner and operator of Office Supply House and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was an active member, deacon and Sunday School teacher at Hillcrest Baptist Church. He was also a member of the Lions Club and President of Bluegrass Office Machine Dealers.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Haynes Crenshaw, in 1982.

Survivors include his wife, Emma Lou Crenshaw; his daughter in law, Charla D. Coleman, Hopkinsville; two grandsons and one great-grandson.
