Dr. Howard H. Hall, 99, died Thursday, Nov. 7, 2019.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Zachary Taylor National Cemetery in Louisville.

A visitation with family and friends will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Clark Legacy Center, Versailles Road, with Hiram Lodge No. 4 conducting services at 7 p.m. The lodge will open at 6:30 p.m.

A native of Ripley, Ohio, he was born Sept. 2, 1920, the son of the late Dr. Lloyd B. and Hazel Taylor Hall.

He retired from the Department of Agriculture in animal disease eradication and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Shortly after retirement, he started a Competition Pistol Shooting Club and was very competitive in Senior Athletic Events. He was active in Kiwanis Club until 2018 and was on a bowling team. He was a Thirty Second Degree Mason.

Survivors include his daughters, Carolyn Carpenter, Louisville, and Anne (Richard) Paxton, Hopkinsville; three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Senior Olympics.
