Tommie Curlin

Tommie Lee Curlin Sr. 79, died Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianadianapolis, Indiana of natural causes.

Services will be at noon, Monday, November 30, 2020 at Gamble Funeral Home, Hopkinsville, KY with the Rev. Danny Miles, Sr. officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Cadiz.

Due to the increase of COVID-19 the funeral will be private (family not to exceed over 25). There will be no visitation.

A native of Trigg County, he was born Dec. 2, 1940, son of the late Curtis and Elvira Wimberly Curlin.

Tommie was a retired Vice Principal of the Indianapolis Public School System. He was affiliated with the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Indianadianapolis.

Tommie was preceded in death by his wife Effie Frances Curlin and wife Bernice Curlin.

He is survived by his three sons-Christopher D. (Rhonda) Curlin, Mark D. (Raina) Curlin, Tommie L. (Alexandra) Curlin, Jr., Indianapolis, Indiana; daughter Yolanda S. (Kevin) Penn, Carmel, Indiana; brother, Oliver M. Curlin, Indianapolis, Indiana; sisters, Oneita Perkins, Live Oak, Florida; Shirley Ann (Ronald) Redd, Lakeland, Florida; Izora (Ronald) Bullock, Davenport, Florida. Two step-daughters, Latasha Neely, Roni Ford, Indianapolis, Indiana; 13 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren
