Marvin Leslie Civils, 77, passed away Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at Gamble Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Bacon officiating. Burial will be in Trigg Memory Acres. There will be a walk through visitation Wednesday, 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Gamble Funeral Home. Masks are required.

Born in Stewart County, Tenn., on April 22, 1944, he was the son of the late Allen Oscar Sivils and Rosia Brandon Sivils.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Maloy Sivils and Eugene Sivils.

He is survived by his wife, Minnie Civils of Cerulean; son, Leland Civils of Connecticut; two step-children, Larossa Williams (Caregiver) of Oak Grove, KY and Michael Steen of Morganfield; siblings, Jardia Williams, Laura (Paul) Coleman of Hopkinsville; Charles (Marie) Civils of Duluth, Ga.; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
