Ray Williams, 80, Princeton, died Sunday, Oct. 27, 2019, at Vanderbilt Medical Center.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Morgan's Funeral Home with the Rev. Ronnie Sivells officiating.

Burial will be at the Providence Cemetery in Lyon County.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until service hour Friday at the funeral home.

He was the son of the late Paschall Thompson and Mary Ann Craig Williams.

He was the retired owner and operator of Ray's Chevron Tire. Ray was a member of Southside Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Bell Williams; sisters, Sarah Guthrie, Doris Ann Latham (twin sister) and Minnie McKnight; and brothers, Billy Joe Williams and Bobby Gene Williams.

Survivors include his daughter, Tina Louise Courtney, Paducah; son, Timothy Ray Williams, Princeton; sister, Mary Kay (Richard) Storm, Caldwell County; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

I am so sorry to hear that Ray has left us. We knew he was sick because he missed our 60th class reunion last year and that was the only one he missed. We were a class of 26, so we were all so happy to keep up with our classmates. May God send you peace in your sorrow.
