Donald “Donnie” Lee Humphries, 70, Hopkinsville, died at 12:45 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 28, 2019, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Hughart, Beard & Giles Funeral Home with burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

A native of Christian County, he was born Nov. 10, 1949, the son of the late James Alfred Humphries and Amelia Ann Williams Humphries.

He was a welder at Humphries Welding.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Louise Narviez and Georgie Mae Cannon.

Survivors include his significant other, Cynthia A Sumner; his daughters, Amanda Ann (Hector) Rodriguez, Glen Burnie, Md., and Kim Dickerson, Hopkinsville; his brother, Alfred Thomas “Buddy” (Rose) Humphries, Hopkinsville; his sisters, Betty Ann Doresy, Boca Raton, Fla., Linda Joyce Ford and Barbara Sholar, both of Hopkinsville; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
