There's a fix no one wants to discuss

As a pensioner in CERS HAZARDOUS ... There is a fix no one wants to discuss that considers all the factors ... time, money, longevity ...

1. everyone stays in the Tier 1 option.

2. employees must work for a minimum of 25 yrs. of service.

3. no more purchase of military time, ghost time for service time ...

4. Once you have worked 25 yrs / 300 months you can retire at any age but you cannot draw your pension until your 60th birthdate ...

If you die before the 60th birthdate ... your estate gets your contribution +25% of what your employer contribution was at the time of your retirement ... known to retiree by a statement at retirement Only ...

5. Upon retirement after a minimum of 300 months ... you can stay in the state retirement system insurance fund..for health insurance ...

Police work, firefighters & EMS.. are young man occupations ... like athletes in sports ... there comes an age and health when you need to move on ...

That's how you fix the pension fund ....
