Another Friday night is here and all local teams are back and able to play. Todd County Central is on a bye this week but Hopkinsville, Christian County and Trigg County are back in action.
Christian County (1-1) vs. Bowling Green (3-1)
The Colonels continue their brutal district slate tonight as they host Bowling Green at the Stadium of Champions.
County returned to action last week and nearly completed the comeback and fell 25-24 to Greenwood in Bowling Green. The Purples come into Hoptown off a 28-12 to McCracken County.
Both teams are looking for their first win in 5A District Two.
Logan County (1-2) vs. Hopkinsville (2-1)
Hoptown returns from its two-week quarantine and travels to face off against Logan County in district action.
The Tigers were forced into quarantine following a 14-7 loss to Calloway County and look to bounce back against the Cougars.
Logan County plays its first game in the district after its contest against Madisonville-North Hopkins got canceled.
The Cougars lost starting quarterback Braxton Baptiste early in the year and have been trying to adjust offensively.
Trigg County (1-4) vs. Webster County (2-2)
The Wildcats look to snap a four-game losing streak when they host Webster County in Cadiz.
Defense has been an issue for Trigg so far this year.
Since getting a shutout win over Ballar Memorial, the Wildcats have allowed at least 35 points in each of their four losses.
Webster is 2-2 on the year and looks to grab its third straight win of the year after beating Caverna and Owen County.
