Former Hopkinsville Tiger and current John A. Logan Volunteer Jamarion Sharp announced he would be furthering his collegiate basketball career in Western Kentucky as a Hilltopper at Western Kentucky University.

The seven-footer had offers from multiple Power-5 programs, including the likes of West Virginia, Oregon and Arizona.

Sharp, in his first year at John A. Logan, averaged 5.5 points and five rebounds per game, shooting over 60% from the field over the season.

He also got to play with fellow former Hopkinsville Tiger Jalen Johnson, as well as NBA second-round pick Jay Scrubb.

Sharp has one more year left at John A. Logan before he begins his career in Bowling Green.
