The Crittenden County Rockets did just what they're named for Friday as they soared over the Trigg County Wildcats 32-0 in Marion.
For Crittenden, the victory snaps a two-game losing streak and it gives the Rockets some momentum after taking down the 3A Wildcats.
Trigg County has now lost three-straight games, the Wildcats' first three-game losing streak since 2016 when TCHS lost five games in a row at one point.
The Wildcats have an off week then head to Webster County Oct. 18.
Hornets take down Rebels in Lewistown
After a five-game winning streak to start the season, the Todd County Central Rebels have dropped back-to-back games with their latest loss coming against Hancock County.
The Hornets doubled up the Rebs 36-18 for their third win of the year.
Todd County Central plays at 7 p.m. Friday at Butler County.
Tigers impose will on Falcons
The Fort Campbell Falcons were dealt another loss Friday as they now sit at 0-7 after a 49-17 loss to Murray.
The last time Fort Campbell had a seven-game losing streak was in 2001 when the Falcons finished 3-7.
FCHS plays at 7 p.m. Friday at Caldwell County.
VOLLEYBALLUHA goes 1-1 on first day of Quad State
The University Heights Academy Lady Blazers went 1-1 on the first day of Quad State in Paducah and have another pool play match this morning to decide which bracket they'll be in for the rest of the tournament.
UHA took down Germantown (TN) 2-0 (25-21, 25-8) in its opener Friday but fell to Owensboro Catholic 2-0 (25-18, 25-22) in the Lady Blazers' second game of the night.
UHA plays at 9 a.m. today against Calloway County in Paducah to determine whether it will be in the Silver Bracket or Bronze Bracket going forward.
