Patchy frost is expected to develop between 4 am and 7 am CDT across parts of southeast Illinois, all of southwest Indiana, and parts of the Pennyrile region of west Kentucky.

The vast majority of the frost in this area may not develop until 6 am CDT.

The coverage of any frost is expected to be best along and northeast of a line stretching from Interstate 57 and Route 13 in southeast Illinois, and from Fredonia and Elkton in west Kentucky.

Nearly all of southwest Indiana will see frost, with greater coverage as you travel northeast through southern Indiana.

Some tender vegetation may be impacted, depending on the duration and coverage of the frost.

You may still have some time to move tender plants indoors or cover them outdoors before turning in for the night.
