The first three COVID-19 related deaths were confirmed by the Christian County Health Department this afternoon.

The first individual was an 86-year-old male and the second was an 86-year-old female. Both had various underlying health conditions, however, what those conditions are was not shared, according to CCHD Spokeswoman Amanda Sweeney.

The third individual was a 76 year old male with underlying health conditions.

CCHD is asking that in memory of those individuals, the community display green lights or signs at their homes or facilities to show compassion for their loss.

CCHD also reminds everyone to adhere to the guidelines set by Gov. Andy Beshear in order to help prevent further spread of the virus and flatten the curve.
