A man was served a warrant and arrested around 11:05 p.m. Sunday while on West Seventh Street for alleged drug use, according to a Hopkinsville Police Department report.

The report states officers made contact with David Turner, 55, behind Cayce’s Pharmacy on West Seventh and served him a warrant for failure to cooperate with probation and parole after he was previously in possession of drugs.

The warrant was signed by Judge John Atkins on Friday with charges of first-degree possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the report.
