The Christian County Health Department announced Thursday afternoon that it received information about the county’s fourth COVID-19 related death.

This individual was a 69-year-old Caucasian male with underlying health conditions, according to a post on the CCHD Facebook page.

“We would like to send our condolences to family and friends during this difficult time,” the post states.

According to the health department, the county has had 225 total cases, including 74 active cases and 147 recoveries.

Current cases are in the following age brackets:

  • Pediatric (0-21): 10
  • Young Adult-Middle Age (22-59): 54
  • Older Adult (60-84): 10
  • Elderly (85+): 0
